Through Jesus, God comes to us as a defenseless babe, to live as one of us
Christmas: Our expectations are changed by God to gifts of Hope, Peace, Joy, Love
LOVE: Reconcile the past to move forward and answer God's call to us
The JOY of letting go of the past reconciles us to God
Inner PEACE, which passes all understanding, is centered on Christ

Advent: Begin with the end in mind; We are called to be people of HOPE
Thanksgiving: Understanding our blessings
God's "Final Exam" to us: As you do to the least among you, you do unto me
In prayer we are transformed; and become God's presence in the world
A constant relationship with God attunes us to his glory and insures our strength
As in human relationships, we need consistency and ritual for prayer to transform us.

Rt. Rev. Leo Frade: In prayer we open ourselves to God to be changed
In prayer we become closer to God, and focus on the way of truth
Prayer is about us trying to get in touch with God's perspective
Accountability: we are called to produce the fruits of the kingdom

Live authentically as Jesus: with deeds matching words
Envy and jealousy prevent us from receiving God's mercy and grace
Forgiveness means giving up all hope of a better past. As we forgive, we move on.
See God's "big picture"; it's not about us, but others

Love empowers the faith community for the broken dispossessed people of the world
Through Jesus we experience joy beyond joy, and pain beyond pain.
Jesus calls us to be consistent and persistent with compassion
Take the hand of Jesus when the storms of life come upon you

The Big Picture: nothing can separate us from the love of God.
The divine harvest will separate the wheat from weeds; the choice is ours
God is the sower and we the good soil to germinate His Love
Yoked to Christ, we get direction, purpose, and dignity to share with others

Our priority: Welcome all to see the face of God in this place
God's infinite vision affirms the value & dignity of each person; there are no losers
We are called. Decide to be a Disciple to share Jesus' love
God's call gives meaning to our "nobody" existence, connects us to Jesus
Jesus is our rock of faith, the foundation which holds us together

Jesus tells us not to worry about the future or things; or let today ruin tomorrow.
Graduate Sunday: Senior Sermon by Tess Bath
The mystery of the Trinity: an open invitation to discover who we are
Through Pentecost we receive the Holy Spirit and become the Body of Christ
Jesus transcends this world so that we may follow Him into God's Glory

We are not left as orphans but under the guidance of the Holy Spirit
In our journey to the Abundant Life: Jesus is the Way, the Truth, the Life
Listen to the voice, and know the Good Shepard
In the breaking of the bread, Christ be known to us in our everyday lives

Temptation is a tool; there are no shortcuts on our journey
God is never finished with us, but takes us to the next spiritual plateau

I will make you fishers of people: Are we prepared to answer God's call to us?

In Baptism we are empowered with God's presence
